my first day at secondary school

   The welcoming committe comprised boys and girls from the '0' level class and they seemed to be a responsible lot. My results were not so good enough to get me a place in a 'top' school so i had to be contended with being in sek.keb.men kandis Bachok Kelantan.
   I walked about to see if any of my geng members were around. I missed them a lot and  envied my father who studied in a school which was a primary and secondary school together. He had the same classmate for ten years. I saw a bunch of them looking lost and signaled them over our new found guardians took us around and told my where to report. They showed us where the canteen was, where the toilets were and where we may go and where we may not.
